Rassie’s, working life spans a period of more than 30 years in the Human Resources, Training and Development, Industrial Relations industries before the establishing Rassie Erasmus Consulting (REC) in 2014.

The qualifications, skills, experience and exposure to human behavior gained during this period provided a solid and powerful platform to deal with the intricacy of human behavior when REC entered the world of Forensic Physiological Detection of Deception (PDD) Examinations in 2014. A critical skills set to put a person at ease before and during the polygraph examination. Examinee’s are naturally nervous, stressed and even fearful at times to undergo a polygraph examination – putting the examinee at ease helps to prevent inconsistent physiological reactions during testing.

Rassie qualified as a Forensic Psycho Physiologist (Dipl.PDD) in 2014, trained by the American International Institute of Polygraph SA CC.

Rassie undergoes continuous training to keep abreast with all the latest developments in the polygraph industry through the professional organization that REC belongs to, the South African Polygraph Federation (SAPFED) who also brings on board international training
organizations like the American Polygraph Association (APA) to supplement the training and to incorporate international standards.

Rassie’s training through SAPFED also equipped him to testify as an expert witness as a Forensic Polygraph Examiner at disciplinary hearings, at the CCMA and Dispute Resolution Centers.
